Boutique hotel both underwhelming and probably overpriced, but in a great location.
4.0This hotel gets 10 out of 10 for its location - a short walk from Madrid's three major museums and on the fringe of a labyrinth of narrow streets full of bars, restaurants and shops. Oh, and I liked the different coloured doors to the hotel bedrooms.
− Eye-catching artwork and a wide screen mirror-style TV couldn't compensate for the puny dimensions of our room, in which there was hardly space to swing a rat. It was barely adequate for a single occupant. Fortunately my wife and I are slim, since the bed was distinctly narrow. There was virtually no storage space and the only window looked out on to ... nothing, really - just a tiny barren courtyard. Was this good value at 200 euros a night? I think you could probably do a lot better in a similar location.
Location is great ! The rest is fine.
