Ambiente elegante ed accogliente, personale fantastico. Un grazie di cuore a Steve che ci ha accolto in maniera spettacolare. Il mio Hotel a Nairobi. Consigliatissimo.

Tourists in Africa on safari tend to avoid Nairobi. It’s worth a couple of nights there to spend a day in Nairobi, visit the museums, etc. This is perfectly modern cosmopolitan hotel, clean and in a good location and good security. We skipped the buffet breakfast and walked 5-10 minutes to the nearby mall where there were a couple good cafe choices with full kitchen breakfasts and good pastries.

− Don’t rely on the concierge to book a restaurant reservation. He forgot the day before (I think) and booked too late the day of, and we wound up with a very late table at Carnivore – which is definitely an experience but doesn’t live up to the hype. It’s a Brazilian steakhouse which also has crocodile (actually very good), ox testicles (meh), ostrich meatballs (meh).

Amazing staff, great location, shame about rooms.

Staff amazing. Especially chefs who looked after us so well. Chef Ganesh and Chef Tony particularly.

− Suites were poorly furnished and designed. Huge space with sparse furniture. Walk in showers poorly designed with water always flooding bathroom. Pillows were awful.

Thoroughly underwhelming rooms offset by smiling staff. Still not enough to return.
