− Second bed in the twin room had a terrible mattress

nothing, it was untidy and unhygienic it didn’t look like it had been cleaned since the last guests stayed there, in the cupboards there was out of date food

− it was unhygienic, the person who we contacted with regarding the property gave us the wrong information to enter the property

It was an enjoyable and reasonably priced stay.

Good for basic needs, but not if you're housebound on an evening if you have no wifi or phone signal

The layout was good with the 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The kitchen was a good set up with all basic essentials. It's a flat above a shop and that's handy for any bits Adequate towels provided for all guests (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each).

− The phone reception in that area/flat is very poor and unfortunately we had no WiFi to use any of the televisions provided, which was raised with the property owner and we were informed that his previous guest reported no issues but there was a bt engineer coming on the 17th. The thermostat was on a separate WiFi router but no access is given to guests for that. The double bed and 1 si gle bed have decent mattresses but the other single bed was uncomfortable due to feeling the springs. Each room had what seemed to be speakers in the ceiling but nothing explaining what they were. 3/4 lights in bathroom were blown but still usable. Unusual light switch which left my 4 year old niece using the toilet with the light dimming on and off. Basic improvements needed, but basic needs met

My stay other than the central heating was good.

No breakfast served. Self contained accommodation. Good value for money.

− Someone should have at the property and show us how to switch on the central heating. We only manage to switch on the central heating in the main bedroom and couldn’t switch on the other rooms.
