Location was perfect with direct access to the beach. Great facilities in the resort, nice pools and friendly service. The apartment worked well for our family with cooking and laundry facilities.

Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this resort for a relaxing and enjoyable Maui getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at The Kaanapali Shores Resort. The resort offers a great mix of relaxation and convenience, with several standout amenities. The on-site restaurant near the pool was a fantastic spot to grab a meal, and we especially enjoyed the live music on Friday nights—it added a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. In the mornings, the coffee bar was a perfect way to start the day. While the resort has direct beach access, the shoreline in front is quite rocky. However, it’s an easy walk to other nearby resorts to the south, where the beaches have more sand and gentle waves for swimming. The location was great for spotting whales out in the ocean, which was truly a breathtaking experience. The unit itself was spacious, although the room with the two twin beds, one of the beds is very near the door and a little hard to get around. They provided a basket full of yummy snacks, and soaps which was very thoughtful. The silverware and plates matched, which is nice although the knives were not great. We bought a pineapple and had a really hard time cutting it. Some Tupperware or even some sandwich bags would be a nice addition.
