6.0This unit needs updating. It has old dingy carpet upstairs, old cheap dinnerware, cookware, glassware, etc. Everything is cheap, old and outdated (except the downstairs patio table/chairs, that looks new) Musty smell was horrible -- I went out and bought candles to help mask the smell. Also, this is the first beach house we've ever rented that didn't have any beach gear—no chairs, umbrella, towels. Nothing- so come prepared. Finally, we had contacted the rental unit manager via email/messaging a few days prior to our trip with a couple of questions. They responded on the Sunday we checked out. For the good - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. You are mere steps from the beach and can walk to Sliders for breakfast, lunch or dinner down the beach in five minutes. Would I stay here again? Likely not for the cost unless they update it. There are so many updated condos that are ocean front in the same price range or for slightly more. I'll pay the slightly more next time.
