Overall a pleasant one nighter.
8.0Location is excellent. Barefoot is only 100 meters away and MC 300 meters the other way.
− Toilet directly off the room was madness. Along with a glass door and the wash basin actually in the living room and not the bathroom.

9.0Atmosphäre super. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Leckere Begrüßungsgetränke zum Pool gebracht bekommen. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
− Kleinigkeiten. Unter dem Einzelbett war es schmutzig, als wir die Betten zusammengeschoben haben. Sonst sehr sauber. Im Restaurant hat es etwas länger gedauert bis das Essen gab. Meckern auf hohem Niveau ;)

7.0Taprobane House Luxury Boutique Hotel served us well during our two-night stay in Colombo. The standout feature of our stay was the exceptional service from the staff, particularly Swene. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he always greeted us with a smile. He seemed to work incredibly long hours and was consistently available whenever assistance was needed. When we experienced an issue with the shower not draining and the hot water not working, Swene responded promptly and quickly resolved the problem. Unfortunately, the lift was out of service during our stay, and without his help carrying our luggage up and down the stairs, it would have been very difficult for me. The hotel is located in District 3, which we found to be an excellent base for exploring Colombo. There are plenty of fantastic dining options within easy walking distance, which was a real bonus. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side during our stay, so we didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the rooftop pool. However, it looked spectacular and appeared to offer wonderful views across the surrounding area. We'd love to experience it on a future visit. Breakfast was adequate, although it didn't quite measure up to the otherwise high standard of service we experienced throughout our stay. Overall, Taprobane House is a comfortable and well-located boutique hotel, made memorable by the warmth, professionalism and dedication of its staff, especially Swene.

− Bed was too hard for me. Would like a softer more comfortable one. Also security or door men were not so friendly, unlike the managers
