− Great location, but badly maintained Pros: Excellent location for Unfortunately, the apartment is very poorly maintained. I’m sure it was lovely when it was first done, but there has clearly been very little investment in keeping it in good condition. There were rusty and broken items throughout — the dishwasher was so rusty it was falling apart, the terrace furniture was badly rusted and broken, and the drying rack was so rusty it stained our clothes. The AC button was so worn that we had to use a toothpick to press it. Cleanliness was also below an acceptable standard. There was mould in the bathroom and long black hairs throughout the apartment. We travelled with a toddler, so spending a lot of time on the floor made these things particularly noticeable. When we raised this, we were simply told that the apartment had been checked previously and was considered fine. We also had a second cleaning during our stay because of the length of the trip, but arranging it was unnecessarily difficult. As we had a small child, we couldn’t have cleaning done during lunchtime because that was nap time, which seemed to cause considerable inconvenience for the property. It didn’t feel like the customer’s needs came first. The apartment provides just one dishwasher tablet and one washing-machine tablet, with no dishwasher detergent. For a longer stay, this is not particularly practical. The apartment itself is not generally noisy, but the bedrooms are. They are directly opposite the entrance and separated only by a sliding door. The building also has a very old, tiny lift with a heavy cast-iron door that bangs loudly every time it closes. This can be very disruptive when people are coming and going.

− L’ascensore è piccolo e causa porte difficili da chiudere spesso si blocca. Abbiamo soggiornato con un piccolo cagnetto e nonostante fossero stati avvertiti della sua presenza sono andati a pulire senza la presenza di noi padroni.
