Die Aussicht und der Pool dieser Villa sind schlicht phänomenal. Genau aus diesem Grund haben wir uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden. Auch das äussere Erscheinungsbild der alten Villa hat uns sehr gefallen. Es muss nicht immer alles modern oder neu sein. Wir schätzen das Ursprüngliche, weshalb uns auch historische Gebäude besonders ansprechen. Im Inneren ist man jedoch durch die kleine, ältere Küche und die vorhandenen Gerätschaften etwas eingeschränkt. Wer plant, viel selbst zu kochen, wird an gewisse Grenzen stossen. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es im Haus relativ kühl, da wir ausserhalb der Hauptsaison dort waren, und auch der Pool hatte bereits eine eher kühle Temperatur. Das Parkieren an der Hanglage stellte aufgrund der minimalistisch gewarteten Mietwagen auf Korfu eine kleine Herausforderung dar. Insbesondere der Zustand der Reifen sorgte auf der steilen Zufahrt für etwas Nervosität. Wir waren nur zu viert und hatten dadurch sehr viel Platz, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietung war jederzeit freundlich, wohlwollend und schnell. Da die Villa offenbar im Anschluss nicht direkt weitervermietet wurde, konnten wir unkompliziert unseren Aufenthalt verlängern, da unser Rückflug erst am Abend war. Für Gäste, die ruhige Ferien mit viel Platz, einem traumhaften Ausblick und einem Pool suchen, ist diese Villa definitiv eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wahl.

Beautiful outside areas, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The views were stunning!

− Nothing, though some visitor notes would be handy - e.g. we didn’t know what we were supposed to do with the rubbish before we left. Owner was very helpful when I did ask questions. You do need to like cats as some strays had very much made themselves at home!

A truly incredible villa, that created a magical family holiday for us, we can’t wait to come back.

Incredible views, the best we have found on the island! Villa Maro is set up to help you relax, lots of comfortable furniture inside and out, pool area is glorious. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean

− We were initially thrown by the wet room showers over the bath and were worried we were flooding the house! Other than that it was perfect

outstanding experience. breakfast with a view and astonishing sunrises in a hottub

breathtaking view, cozy place with a lovely charme. super welcoming and friendly host. even special requests werent a problem. good location with a little town with a supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby - about 10 minute walk downhill. we'll definitely be back. thank you!
