We enjoyed the ambience, disappointed at no good quality restaurants or cafes.

− The over bath shower was not really suitable for us as older people. There should, at least, be grab handles to ease the use of the shower.

A beautiful apartment in a lovely setting.

Modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable apartment. Very peaceful location and very well equipped kitchen. Great restaurants and even a cinema on the doorstep. The ferry across to Cremyll is right on the doorstep too costing just £3 each way for the 8 minute crossing. Making lovely walks, beaches and the stunning Orangery cafe easily accessible.

− The small free car park up the road was full the night we arrived, so we paid the £15 fee in the yard for 24h the first day but managed to get a free space the next day. Be aware you only have 25 minutes grace once you have entered the yard site before you need to have paid for parking. Royal William Yard is a lovely historic spot, but it is 40/45 mins walk to the town centre and University campus.
