The hostel is exactly as described on the website, with great facilities and everything very clean and well maintained. The location is definitely the highlight — less than two blocks from the beach and close to plenty of restaurants, while still being in a quiet area. It’s also a great option for solo travelers, especially considering there aren’t many hostel options in Palamós. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, which made it very easy to relax and enjoy the stay.

− A couple of small things could be improved. The kitchen does not have a refrigerator, which can be inconvenient for guests staying in a hostel, especially when buying food or drinks from the supermarket and wanting to keep them fresh. Also, the shower area could be improved. The shower itself is very good, but because there is no proper shower enclosure and the floor is all on the same level, the bathroom gets quite wet after showering. These are minor details, but improving them would make the stay even more comfortable.

La struttura è molto vicina alla spiaggia. I letti sono davvero ottimi, hanno la tendina e la luce e anche un ripiano in fondo per appoggiare le proprie cose.

− I bagni non erano molto puliti, soprattutto le docce.

Comfortable stay with some disadvantages

Everything was okay, as I did the online check in prior to arriving. The location is great, the staff is very resposnive and helpful. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are mostly well kept (not at all times though, as this mainly depends on the people who stay there) and are cleaned daily. I received 3 towels which was more than enough for my weekly stay. I was satisfied with the comfy beds and the curtains, the air inside the room was very cool and there was enough space to hang around with other people.

− I stayed in the ladies room which could use some more hangers/ shelves or at least more storage because some lockers are small. Also I want to point out that some food items were taken away from me (crackers, a protein bar, 2 bottles of water) when I stored them downstairs in the kitchen (I put tags on as well). Of course the hostel is not to blame, but it would be perhaps more helpful to have more storage available in the room to prevent this from happenning. Writing this to also warn others to be careful about their belongings. Also, I would like to add that the fridge is quite small, there were a lot of unnecessary things inside - food that has gone bad, large watter bottles etc. - it would be nicer to have a better storage regime considering that there can be many peeople inside the hostel at the same time. Despite all these disadvantages I would still recommend this hostel as it is a good value for money.

Muy buena ubicación

− La ducha no era cómoda, no tenía topes en el suelo así que se salía el agua, las sábanas estaban sucias y el refrigerador era muy chico, así que no cabía toda la comida

Camas confortables, cocina disponible. El hostel es silencioso, pude dormir bien.

− Baño podia ser más limpio, pero bien.

Es un hostel que está nuevo y muy limpio.

− Lo que no me gusto mucho es que no haya una recepción con alguien disponible para atenderte en el propio hostel. En cualquier caso te atienden en la recepción del Hotel Trías, que está a solo dos manzanas.
