Lovely bathroom

Location and place was pretty and unique. The brownies left were a nice touch. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower etc. was squeaky clean.

− 10am chuck out! Earliest check out I've ever know. The outside furniture, (given the heat was highly desirable to utilise) was grubby. The swing chair my son had his eye on as his spot was covered in leafage and when I went to shake it it was wet and smelly, couldnt use. Inside the carriage there was a smell but once we removed the jar containing green water and rotten flowers (nice effort for a long departed previous guest) it freshened up. The spare bed was not a spare bed. It was not possible to sleep on even once erected correctly. As a fold out z chair it was hard and lumpy but was a comfy chair. The only comfy chair. Which meant sharing with my 14 year old in high temperatures. Was difficult to contact host. The 'Finest Retreats' company put me on a back foot from the off. Not like others I have used and if you start a message with 'a polite reminder' it's usually because it really isn't polite. Reminding money will be taken 'unless' at every opportunity is not good customer service. Should you have a query or niggle they dont understand you though! Definitely had better and will stick with the others I've used.

We both loved the area and how quiet it was! We also appreciated the host, she was caring and attentive! We both loved the space and would recommend it to friends and family

The location was idyllic and having the kitchen and bathroom separate from the sleeping area was good.

− It was very unclean. Significant amounts of dust, hair and other unidentifiable mess everywhere. No vacuuming had been done outside of immediate eyesight. The entire place looked tired. Missing paint, dirty, smelly drains. The doors had dropped so difficult to open and impossible not to be noisy. The large doors were only locked at the bottom and sunlight could be seen in the gaps. They did not feel safe.

Absolutely lovely! Quirky but very comfortable place to stay. Very clean with everything you need plus some thoughtful extras. Pretty, tranquil setting close to Enjoyed the Bank Holiday music festival at Shrewsbury and exploring Hawsmead Park Follies. Freindly, attentive host. Thoroughly recommend.
