The location and the privacy

− The tv wasn't working due to the broadband and the host advised he would be out to fix it twice which he didn't attend,poor service,along with the ants all over the kitchen

We enjoyed our stay the property met all our needs

Modern apartment in a good location, quiet area, but walking distance to both Puerto del Carmen centre and Matagorda. Nice little pool shared with a few other apartments, beach just down steps and across the road. Very close to bus stop and little supermarket nearby.

− The apartment only had basics. No toaster, no essential supplies expect for a couple of toilet rolls. Bed linnen and towels not great quality and no spares, lucky we brought our own pool towels, only 1 pillow each, mosquito net half cut away in bedroom window, curtain pole without a curtain, only handful of old clothes hangers in wardrobe. Cooker hood didn’t seem to be working and drains in bathroom need urgent attention as bad smell coming from them. The apartment could do with an information book leaflet, where to take rubbish etc & wifi code barely readable on router, Wifi not great. This could be an excellent apartment with a few additions. No aircon, but not an issue this time of year.

Quieter end of Puerta Carmen but with it's own shops cafes bar & restaurants. Local beach also very good. We hired bikes locally and cycle path goes straight along to Puerta Carmen. We spent most of our days locally. The apartment is a short distance from the beach with steps as a shortcut but walking round and down the road doesn't take much longer and steps may be a problem for d some. The apartment is within a gated area with about 4/5 others. The pool is not large but plenty big enough. We enjoyed the area and the apartment.

− We didn't get a change of towels and sheet, however there is a washing machine and an excellent indoor drying room, roofed but allows air in.
