− It was cold,air conditioner was not working well.

a nice place to cut the trip from Maun to Johannesburg if you're a bit flexible

We like the lodge grounds as it is close to town but still the lake and gardens are very nice with birdlife. It is very quiet except for the traffic noise of the nearby road which has become a very busy road. That it is very cheap is a bonus but that's not why we choose this to overnight between Maun and Johannesburg. We like the space and the way the lodge is build.

− The place would be perfect as a Faulty Towers place: the receptionist ( not sure of his function ) is "strange"to say the least: very nervous, acting like he doesn't know what to do and problems to understand us: just one example: last time he brought our wine when our meal was finished, this time he brought 2 red wines instead of the red and white asked for, he's constantly on his cellphone and obviously has wifi, only we didn't have wifi at all, not in the room, not in the restaurant, a bit weird. The staff was 1 lady who was waiter, cook, made the invoice and collected the payment, she was very good and got a nice tip. It is obvious this place lives from marriages, parties etc but has very few overnight guests, we have been there now 3 times and beside some mine staff who has a contract there never saw another tourist but as said, we like the place. One more thing: they have a very nice menu list but after trying the 3rd option which they again didn't have, we asked what they did have and that was steak and chips and pap with lamb so it would be better to just have a short list with what is available. After 15 minutes the cook came back saying we shouldn't take the chicken liver starter as "it was too old". We appreciated her honesty and changed to soup.

Rooms are clean. There is tranquility along with the neatly trimmed grass and swimming pool.

− There are a few small things missing in the rooms, such as coffee mugs, tee, coffee and bottled water. The air conditioning units haven't been serviced in a long time and leaking water inside the rooms. The door handle of one room was broken. A bit of attention is needed for the upkeep of premises

La camera era grande e in una bella posizione, davanti ad un laghetto. Parcheggio comodo, tanto spazio a disposizione dentro e fuori. Area del lodge sicura, con ingresso presidiato 24 ore su 24.

− Siamo partiti malissimo, perché abbiamo trovato la reception già chiusa, mentre in base alla descrizione avrebbe dovuto essere aperta. Solo grazie al custode all'ingresso siamo riusciti a contattare chi doveva darci la chiave. La dotazione in camera non era tutta inappuntabile: il forno a microonde, per esempio, c'era ma in pratica era inutilizzabile. Sarebbe necessaria un po' più di attenzione per i clienti.
