The location was the best. I stayed in a single room, which was quite decent and comfortable

− The windows didn't seal very well, so it got a bit loud at times from the street noise

Pagi has everything you need for a basic stay, I can't fault it for the price and location.

This was my second time at Hotel Pagi. It's a basic hotel but it's got everything you need. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are a little small but sufficient. Staff are lovely and helpful, it's very easy to just come and go at your own leisure with key card access to the building. Great location as well making it easy to get everywhere in Amsterdam and also rest of Netherlands with the metro just outside. They clean your room daily and refresh towels etc. Definitely 5 stars given the affordability of the rooms.

− Things to note are the stairs are very steep as is common in most of Amsterdam's narrow properties so bare this in mind if you are less mobile. There is no lift. The building is a little dated so walls are a little thin connecting to the corridors so there will be occasions where you can hear people talking from the corridors. Wasn't an issue for me as I was out all day and mostly just in the hotel to sleep, just something to keep in mind.

Excellent! Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Amsterdam.

I expected the bed to be much smaller and the room to be a bit shoddy, but it was really nice and the bathroom was really good. The view was AMAZING! It is right on a main road, but the windows must have been double glazed, because it was really quiet. The woman that was at reception was brilliant and not only helped me carry my super heavy suitcase up the stairs, she also gave me a list of recommendations for places to eat. I will DEFINITELY stay here again.

− Not much to be honest. The room could do with a fresh paint job, and it was super small, but for the price, I can't complain.
