9.0Really like the ground floor, lounge and restaurant area. A lovely relaxed feel and beautifully designed. Exceptional service from Costa at our evening meal and Glen in the morning at breakfast.

10.0This wonderful hotel is like home away from home. Perfect situation in Marylebone, exceptional staff, comfortable lounge areas, bar and dining. Two street entrances makes it easy to access.

Great place to stay near Lords cricket ground
10.0We had been given tickets for the 2nd test at Lords as an anniversary present, and wanted somewhere to stay near to the ground. The Holmes Hotel was chosen based on the reviews of others and I'm pleased to say that they didn't let us down. The Holmes Hotel is very clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, from the restaurant staff right through to the cleaning staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good (my eggs florentine were perfect). It's near the centre of London, but given that, the prices were reasonable. Our room didn't have a great view (a brick wall), but as we were only there to sleep, we didn't really notice it that much! Getting there was easy enough from St Pancras, just three stops down the Circle line. If we are back in London, we will certainly be return.
