The room was good, food was mediocre , overall clean and spacious.

− Before arriving, I called the hotel and specifically confirmed that my Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was ready on the 6th floor with a double bed. The staff confirmed this two hours before check-in, and knew we were already on our way. Upon arrival, however, we were taken directly to a room on the 2nd floor without any explanation. Only when I questioned it did the staff inform us that the confirmed room was no longer available and that they were assigning us a "Junior Suite" instead, presenting it as an upgrade with two balconies and additional sleeping arrangements. The room was clearly not an upgrade. It had outdated furniture, a poor layout, and looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com. One small room contained a single bed, another contained a double bed, and both balconies faced only the parking area. For a room costing nearly NPR 9,000, the quality was extremely disappointing. After comparing the room with the listing photos, I confirmed that it was completely different from what I had booked. When my partner asked whether the hotel could provide the room we had reserved or if we should leave, the staff finally stopped trying to justify the room and started making calls. We were then taken to a different building and shown another room on the 3rd floor. While it was closer to what we had booked, it still did not fully match the advertised photos. The room had two single beds instead of the requested double bed, and the advertised mountain-view features were missing. Only after further discussion did the staff agree to improve the bed arrangement. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. The hotel repeatedly confirmed my room before arrival, then attempted to place us in a much inferior room while presenting it as an upgrade.

Wunderbare , großzügige Hotelanlage mit tollem Blick zu den Bergen und sehr herzlichem Personal

− Die innenliegenden Badezimmer könnten in der Dusche ein Refresh gebrauchen. Leider hört man die Klimageräte auf den Balkonen recht stark.

We stayed at Hotel Sarathi for over a week while enjoying day hikes in the surrounding area. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with any request, which made our stay especially pleasant. Our room was comfortable and featured a balcony with a lovely view. The restaurant offered both breakfast and dinner with a good variety of options, which we really appreciated. We would happily recommend this hotel to others and hope that many more people will find and enjoy it as much as we did.

Joli hôtel. Personnel adorable, très compétent, professionnel et serviable. Bon petit déjeuner. La chambre était très spacieuse et le lit vraiment très confortable ! Propre et bien entretenu.

− Nous n'avons pas pu accéder au bar extérieur, privatisé à cause d'un mariage, dommage !

Struttura top! Camere super spaziose, eccellente pulizia e wifi super veloce. Drink di benvenuto, staff molto cordiale e accogliente. Il Nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto! Il ristorante è meraviglioso, cibo eccellente! Assolutamente consigliato!

Lovely stay in Dhulikel

Lovely big room, friendly, helpful and attentive staff, and the view from both the room and terrace is amazing! Good location for hiking and walking into Dhulikhel old town. Food was very good too (even the Western menu items) and craft beer on tap. What’s not to love.

− The pool could do with being heated in the winter months and the jacuzzi was also out of operation due to technical issues when we stayed.
