10.0We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Esthers Guesthouse. My husband and I were traveling with our two daughters, aged 11 and 13. We stayed in a family room which was the perfect size for the four of us and had a private bath. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The views and location in Gimmelwald were fantastic. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. There is a shared kitchen space that could be used for preparing meals, which is also nice. We would definitely stay here again.

How soon can I come back?!
8.0No cars, blissful. Waterfall noise was better than a sound machine. Windows open all night to hear the bells on the cows and the rooster in the morning, dreamy. The whole experience was picturesque. Walking to Mürren for a fun excursion, exploring the other trams and mountain peaks while hiking, paragliding, enjoying cocktails in valleys. I could have stayed for a month!
I would absolutely stay here again, we loved it!

− The cross beams in our room made for regular ducking to avoid running into with your head, and the shower is tiny.

The village is car-free. You need to take the Schilthornbahn cable car, which takes 5 minutes, and then walk 500 ft to the hotel.
