Suited our needs for an overnight stay
7.0The host, Dawn was lovely, very accessible by mobile and was very accommodating with our request to arrive early. The property was spacious tastefully decorated and well equipped. The location was excellent for the venue we were visiting.
− The central heating didn't work. We contacted Dawn who had a go at fixing it, unfortunately, unsuccessfully. It looked like the thermostatic controller had lost its wireless contact with the boiler which was in the locked garage and therefore inaccessible to us. It was only an overnight stay so not a huge issue. Dawn apologised and we were told booking.com would be refunding 10% of the rent. That was a month ago and it hasn't happened yet.
Overall lovely homely accommodation, looking forward to booking again.
10.0The house was lovely, clean, spacious, and bright. I was very impressed with the decor. Dawn, the host, was very friendly; I met her when she brought over some fresh towels. Before our stay, I contacted her a couple of times. She was very prompt in responding and extremely helpful. She definitely made us feel very comfortable. I am looking forward to booking again.
− While the on-site parking was a great convenience, there is a tree that overhangs the driveway. Unfortunately, I had to wash my car again before our trip back to London due to the debris falling from the tree.
