A quirky little cottage. The garden was a sun trap. Well equipped kitchen. Ideally situated for the places we wanted to visit. Friendly neighbours.

− The house felt unloved. As a former landlady of a rental property I suspect there hadn't been a deep clean done this season. Whilst the house appeared superficially clean, there was dust underneath/behind the furniture. There was a cupboard beside the fireplace that was full of old paint pots and other long unused rubbish which smelt very damp and unpleasant. The double bed mattress needs replacing. It was very uncomfortable. The garden needed attention, the outside furniture was covered in spiderweb. We thought the property was very expensive. Not for us I'm afraid.

Very homely, with bundles of character, great location

− Parking was limited, felt lucky to get a space to park The 2 staircases was a little daunting trying to carry young children up and down (understand it's an old property) very steep stairs

It was very cosy with everything we needed. Close to local shops.

− The stairs were a little steep, but not a problem.

Lovely homely cottage right in the heart of Wells.

Fabulous location we could walk to restaurants and to walks that we had planned. Everything you needed in the property. We used the garden every day to eat breakfast and that was why we chose this particular property.

− The stairs were a challenge but we did know they were tricky from the details. It didnt matter to us because we were just 2 people so we didnt take the case upstairs. This could be difficult for a bigger party.
