The property itself and its surroundings were beautiful. That is exactly why this experience was so incredibly disappointing. We chose this place to celebrate our anniversary, but being refused accommodation after receiving the room keys completely ruined our stay.

− We travelled approximately four hours across the Dominican Republic to stay at this property for our anniversary. We arrived on time, returned at the requested check-in time, were shown our room and even received the room keys. Only after that did the staff tell us they could not accommodate us due to a power outage and asked us to find another place to stay. What made the situation even more confusing was that the reception clearly had electricity. The computers, iPads, Wi-Fi, electrical outlets and fans were all working while we were being told that accommodation was impossible because of the power outage. Because we were informed so late, we were unable to find any alternative accommodation nearby and had no choice but to drive all the way back after dark through remote roads. After travelling for hours to reach this place, this was the last thing we expected. It was an incredibly disappointing experience that completely ruined our anniversary trip and our entire stay in the Samaná region. The whole situation was very strange and difficult to understand. We left feeling frustrated, exhausted and deeply disappointed. Sadly, despite the property itself looking beautiful, this became one of the worst travel experiences we have ever had, and I cannot recommend staying here.

It was a beautiful and very peaceful place. The area is calm and surrounded by nature. The garden is lovely, and the jungle around the property creates a really special atmosphere. The gym was great, the beach is very close, and everything felt very tranquil. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I had a wonderful stay.

La conexión del lugar con la naturaleza de El Valle, la hermosa energía de paz y serenidad, las instalaciones orgánicas y la atención excepcional.

− Al llegar al punto de ubicación a través del mapa, no pude encontrar fácilmente el acceso al lugar, no había señalización desde la carretera principal.

− Soy una mujer afrocolombiana y fui con una amiga que también es afro. Durante la estadía mi amiga Vivió una situación de racismo por parte de Patricia que fue la persona encargada del hotel. Ella Le Dijo un comentario racista, así que súper desagradable el lugar y el trato de su personal
