Last minute booking turns out to be an excellent surprise

It was a last minute booking here as we missed the cutoff time to cross the border at Bulembu (4 pm). The hosts were very nice people. We asked if they have dinners and they offered to help us get a pizza in the guise that they don't feel like cooking that evening. We ended up cooking a simple meal in the small but functionable kitchenette in the room instead. The tastefully-decorated cottage is nestled amongst the trees in their lush garden. There are stone slabs as stairs to reach it. The door has grilles and we were advised to keep it locked at all times.

− Turning into the property can be a challenge for a bigger car, depending on the route you take. It is advisable to come via Pilgrim's St rather than Van Der Merwe as the narrow road has a gradient, and the turn in is too steep. There is no wifi but there is hot water.

− Tiny living space. No place to sit comfortably. Veranda tiny, kitchenette tiny. Braai area minute. No actual view. Just the plants around you. No birds.

The quietness of the place and the nature of it, listening to birds singing . It was a very nice getaway . Though it was raining 🌧 but we had that chance of listening to nature praising and appreciating God for the rain.

Propriétaire agréable,chalet mignon, bien équipé, plusieurs terrasses et un petit bassin pour tremper, vue panoramique partielle. pas très loin des commerces.

− Très petit et sombre, escalier de 60 marches, très chaud le jour et froid la nuit, par vent et pluie beaucoup de bruit sur la toiture par chutes de branches donc des nuits courtes, situé sur une pente très raide. Chère pour ce que c'est. Nous avons écourté notre séjour.
