Great location, memorable views for morning coffee
9.0Excellent location for exploring Snowdonia. 7 minutes to Caernarfon, 16 to Llanberis, 38 minutes to Portmerion. Very clean and comfortable. Great communication from owner, everything needed provided. A little something special to be right on the lake in the quiet, landscaped site. Very memorable to relax and watch the ducks /swans from the balcony. Note - food available in the shop, but becareful of the male Swan! Was quite a warm few days and the lodges do retain the heat, however a fantastic fan had been provided. Stopped in one of these lodges 28 years ago and finally came back! They are getting older and have a few issues still (i.e don't have the kettle and shower on at the same time, and wait for the shower to warm up- an issue with all), but the owners had done all they could to make those renting feel comfortable and give the lodge a fresher look. It was a lovely site years ago and still is, if you can forgive minor issues that really can't be helped.

10.0Excellent lodge. Lovely and clean brilliant location. Also provided us milk and buiscuits on our arrival which was a really nice touch by the owners. Nice pub on the site too. Will definitely book again in the future. Thanks

10.0Fantastic location, sitting out on the balcony was lovely after a day out walking. Really comfy beds and nicely decorated inside. Really nice touch to have tea, coffee, milk and biscuits left for us 🙂
− It was a bit worrying not knowing how many appliances we could have on at one time! And just need to plan ahead when to shower but it was nonissue as we showered in the evenings.
It was fantastic stay and we would like to come again. Host was very welcoming and nice.
