Nice hotel but not value for money.

Great breakfast, lots of choice and a nice, easy walk into Hvar town. Lovely beach, lots of sunbeds and a great choice in the bar.

− The bar and restaurant are extremely expensive. For an expensive hotel anyway, the cost is prohibitive.

The location is beautiful, right by the sea, and the outdoor areas are probably the highlight of the hotel. We really enjoyed having direct access to the water and the relaxing setting. The staff were also helpful when we complained about our first room and moved us to another one.

− The rooms and facilities were very disappointing for a hotel in this category. We booked two rooms of exactly the same category, yet one was considerably smaller than the other. In the smaller room, the air-conditioning unit was visibly dusty and dirty, did not work properly, and the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell. The hotel moved us to another room, which we appreciated, but unfortunately that room also had maintenance issues. Several lights did not work and the bathroom extractor fan was broken, meaning there was practically no ventilation and smells would linger unless we opened the balcony door. The Wi-Fi was also extremely poor and practically unusable throughout the property. Considering Wi-Fi is advertised as an amenity, this was particularly frustrating. Overall, the rooms seem to need significantly better maintenance. Having problems with cleanliness, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and Wi-Fi across multiple rooms is simply not what we expected from a 4-star hotel.
