2.0− Very disappointed with my stay. The hotel has a lot of potential, but the overall experience was let down by poor communication and unprofessional service. I booked a room specifically advertised with a Tower Bridge/Tower of London view. Before my stay, I contacted the hotel directly to confirm the room details, but the hotel never replied to my messages. Because of this, I contacted Booking.com customer service beforehand, and they confirmed with the hotel, that the room I had booked did indeed include the Tower Bridge view. This created confusion at check-in when I was told that the view was only subject to availability. We then had to wait an additional amount of time for a room that we ultimately never received. Instead, we were given a room positioned in the direction of Tower Bridge, but there was a large tree directly in front of the room, completely blocking the view. In reality, there was no view of Tower Bridge at all, despite what we had booked and what Booking.com customer service had confirmed. I was also pressured to pay before knowing which room we would actually receive, which I was not comfortable with. Throughout the stay, staff rarely greeted or acknowledged guests and only did so after the guests initiated the greetings. Even at check-out, I was simply told “OK” with no explanation or farewell, leaving me unsure whether the check-out was actually complete. The bed was also quite hard and uncomfortable. The concierge team was the only consistently friendly and welcoming staff. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself has so much potential, but the lack of communication, warmth, and professionalism really affected my stay.
Really enjoyed my 3 night stay. Staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic about there jobs .

− There wasn't any warm plates for the buffet breakfast so the hot food went cold very quickly which was a shame as it was actually very nice .
