Good value, friendly staff, great and quiet location

Excellent location to walk to city center, quiet, nice facilities and very friendly staff, nice bar on first floor. We did not try the breakfast. The room was spacious, nice and spacious shower and separate toilet. Mini fridge. Daily free coffee and tap water.

− The room was very warm at night. Although the AC was on, it couldn’t cool the room because October temperatures outside were around 14°C. Reception explained the system doesn’t provide cooling in cold weather, so we opened the window, and that solved the issue.

The location of the hotel was superb, and the rooms were very quiet, with no noise from the street or other rooms. The room was very spacious, and there was a large countertop in the bathroom for our toiletries. The breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of options. Even when all the tables were occupied, the breakfast area didn't feel crowded.

− The room temperature felt uncomfortably high, even in October. The hotel is said to have air conditioning, but the system seemed outdated. Even when left on full blast, the AC didn't do much for the room temperature, so we ended up having to keep the windows open to cool the room. The bed was on the harder side, but we got used to it after the first night. Attention to a couple of details would make the hotel experience better: 1) The lighting could be improved. When going to the bathroom at night, there was no softer night light to turn on to help navigate to the bathroom and back in the dark. Also there could/should be a softer light in the bathroom for night time. 2) An outlet in the bathroom would also be nice for fixing your hair etc. (An outlet + mirror with proper lighting in the room would do the same.) 3) Furthermore, even though there was plenty of counter space around the bathroom sink, there was nowhere to put your own shampoo, conditioner or shower gel in the shower. It would therefore be nice to have a shelf there.

Sehr gute Zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, besonders Luca an der Rezeption ist besonders nett. Das Frühstück ist richtig gut mit einer großen Auswahl und viele frische Sachen.

Reception staff were all generally kind and helpful but George at reception was excellent, he goes above the norm to assist. I liked the fact that it is very clean overall, also appreciate the fast response to our requests. A message request was acted upon immediately; that was great. Location and area are good too.

− The view from room was terrible. Size of room was not as expected or as pictured. Iron being outside room was awkward. Room rate for stay is Expensive, above what it should be.
