2.0The few good things about this hotel: fairly clean, room was a comfortable temperature, and it’s located in a good area. Now the bad things: there was no shower curtain or door on the shower, and the second I turned the shower on, water literally sprayed all over the bathroom, drenching the toilet and floor in water. Went to the front desk to ask for more towels, waited there for 5+ minutes and there wasn’t a single staff member in sight. There was no soundproofing; we could hear people walking around all night long. The room itself looked like it was put together in less than 24 hours (exposed wires with no cover plates, holes in walls, etc). Bed felt like a cardboard box. There was music playing in the common area all night that we could hear from our room?? I’ve stayed in other hotels in Montreal with similar dingy conditions for half the price.
