We spent New Year’s Eve in the house, and it was the perfect choice for a group of 5-6 friends – we were very comfortable. Before we arrived, Lazar and his wife gave us all the details about the house and some great tips on local attractions. He was very attentive to our comfort even before we arrived, always in touch and happy to answer any questions, which was really nice. The house was spotless, and there were no issues with cleanliness in the kitchen or bathrooms. No unpleasant smells anywhere. The bedding was fresh, and there were enough towels for everyone. The bathrooms were stocked with lots of toiletries – creams, shampoo, shower gel, and even feminine hygiene products. The house also has a washing machine and a dryer, plus all the necessary laundry supplies. The kitchen is really well-equipped, with a dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of dishes. There’s also a stove outside on the terrace for cooking over an open fire. The house has a big stockpile of firewood, so no need to bring charcoal with you. The interior is cozy with a homely atmosphere, and the fireplace adds a special touch to the whole place. We especially appreciated the attention to detail – the Lazar and his wife had decorated the house with Christmas lights and festive accessories for the holiday. We also ordered dinner from the hosts, and they prepared amazing plates with a selection of meats and cheeses, great homemade pickles, and fresh bread. We also ordered homemade sausages and cooked them over the fire – we highly recommend trying the hosts’ homemade food, it was a wonderful dinner at a very reasonable price. It’s a great idea for a big group or family. As a gift, the hosts gave us some local alcohol and wine, and their hospitality was truly top-notch. 😊 The heated jacuzzi was clean and really made a difference. It’s a great way to relax, and it comfortably fits 3-4 people at once. The views around the house are breathtaking.

Location is fantastic, it is inside the protected naational park, somewhere where you woudn't believe that you could build a house in. You need to pay entrance fee to the park, to get to your accomodation, but it is a vary small fee and if valid for many entries. Hosts are really accomodating, they are very nice and fiendly... we felt welcomed. There is a fridge filled with all kinds of juices, sodas, alcoholic beverages, priced as in local markets, which is very good because local markets are not so close by, none in the park area. In front of the house there is an enourmous field which we used to lie on when night fell and watched the stars, which we love to do, but you need an altitude and lack of pollution for that.

Comfortable house in a beautiful place

Lovely comfortable house in a very beautiful, quiet and peaceful place. There is everything you need and even a little more. Very hospitable hosts. Misunderstanding may arise only because of insufficient knowledge of the languages of the guests, but the hosts still try to understand and help. They offer delicious homemade food. For those who don't want to order, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The waterfall is very close, about 10 minutes at a slow walking pace, and even in the house you can hear its murmur (with windows open). The house has several spacious terraces with sofas and tables. Comfortable mattresses and orthopedic pillows. Washing and drying machines, dishwasher. The place is definitely worth a visit!

− You can only get there by car (at least I don’t know anything about other transport), and the road is not very comfortable sometimes. It takes about 30 minutes driving to get to/from Despotovac. Though it's not something the host can influence, just to let future visitors know

The "must stay" place when you are in the region!

Everything. Our son had his birthday during the stay. Nothing was a problem to prepare a birthday party for him. Really great! Great location, accomodation, owners!
