10.0The host is exceptionally kind and helpful, the house is beautiful, located on a hill, you can hear and watch some sheep, or admire the lake. The breakfast was very tasty and you have a lot to choose from. The apartment was spacious and clean. If we visit Lake Como again, we will gladly return to Casale Bella Vista. We visited two interesting museums, one dedicated to vintage boats and one to the local history - marble quarries, silk production, and capturing Mussolini in the village of Dongo. There is a lot to do in the area.
− We wanted to walk a lot so for us, it wasn't a disadvantage but if you have some health limitations or don't like walking, it's quite a walk up the steep hill to get to the accommodation from the lake shore (10-15 min) So, just saying, but we enjoyed the location. The only thing we would recommend to fix is a slight creaking of doors in the apartment.

9.0Es ist ein altes Haus, aus Naturstein gebaut und sehr schön, kürzlich renoviert, mit viel Geschmack. Das Hotel ist auch sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Z.B. gibt es einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer, in dem täglich zwei frische Flaschen Wasser standen. Ein Kühlschrank, einfach so, ohne MiniBar Aufdringlichkeiten. Das Hotel hat eine Terrasse mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Comer See und die nahen sehr hohen Berge. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Berg, in einem sehr ruhigen, alten Ortsteil. Ein steiler Weg führt hinunter ins Dorf am See. Es sind etwa 15 Minuten hinunter und 20-25 Minuten zurück, auf kleinen Wegen, autofrei. Man kann draußen auf der Terrasse frühstücken, in sehr schöner Umgebung, auf der angrenzenden Weide grasen Schafe. Gutes variiertes Frühstück. Allerdings ist das Hotel nicht ganz billig. Man wird äusserst nett von Giovanna empfangen, die auch tolle Tipps gibt, und deren Freundlichkeit den Aufenthalt verschönern.
