Quiet, comfortable and relaxing
9.0Situated on a small nature reserve, Ou Kraal Tented Campsite provides comfortable tented accommodation. Our tent had a bathroom inside and enough power points to charge camera batteries devices and still run the heater to take the chill off the room in the cool autumn mornings :) The tents are all situated overlooking a small natural dam which attracts some beautiful bird life. Waking up to see wildebeest and springbok walking around the fields next to the campsite was an added bonus. There is a small kitchenette outside the tent as well a fire place equipped with a braai grid. Perfect for sitting with a fire, a sundowner and watching the birds. With fire wood available for a small very reasonable fee, this is the perfect place to unwind, relax. Also situated an easy drive from Sun City Resort and Pilanesberg National Park, this makes for an ideal and affordable spot to use as a base camp for day trips to both places, which is exactly what we did.
