The house is spacious for two with seperate bed, living and dining/kitchen areas. The verandah is also spacious with room to sunbathe and eat outside. Plenty of storage space and all the facilities you would expect. The location is good too. Just one row back from the sea front with easy access to swimming in the harbour. All village shops and tavernas are only a couple of minutes away. Despite this, it is very peaceful and nobody knows you are there.

− The last ferw steps of access are up several narrow stone steps - not the easiest but we septagenarians managed them!Hopefully next time we come the lovely blue awning will be repaired and the broken sunbed replaced.

Perfect location, off of the busy port or main tourist paths (we had absolutely peaceful night sleep),but still very close to everything - shops, tavernas, port. I was alone with two kids, youngest 2 years old and for us the location was perfect (and for bigger grocery bags all shops offer free delivery to your doors). House is beautifully decorated, gorgeous views from terrace and has all equipment in kitchen for fixing easy meals. Very quick and kind communication with hosts. We loved our stay in this house.

Tucked away two houses from the water front on the North side of the harbour, Amazing House (also known as Villa Blue House) is accessed by a dozen steep narrow stone steps up to its secluded verandah. This is protected by a sky blue awning and accommodates a table and chairs, two sunbeds and bench seating along three sides. Despite not, itself, being overlooked, it boasts stunning views back across the harbour, the village and the church bell tower, and out over the sea to the archipelago to the mountains of Rhodes. The main door, off the verandah, opens into a spacious living/dining/kitchen area. To the left is the dining table and chairs with room for up to four to dine. The kitchen area has all the usual equipment built in and there is a large free standing fridge/freezer. The cutlery, crockery and glassware were adequate but basic. The shower, lavatory, and handbasin are off the kitchen. The lounge is to the right as you enter through the main door. There is a sizeable comfortable L-shaped sofa facing a large screen television. Further to the right is access to the bedroom and storage area. In traditional Greek style, wooden stairs lead up to the sleeping area on a mezzanine. It has more headroom than most but those over 6ft will have to take care. Under the mezzanine, two steps lead down to a low ceilinged room devoted to storage (mind your head). The two wardrobes nearest the steps are for visitors and there are hanging rails and shelving aplenty. If that isn't enough, there is also a low level wardrobe in the sleeping area. From the bedroom, curtains open onto the lounge, below. The property is generally well maintained, although the bracket holding the showerhead needed tightening.There is easy access to the harbour area with its taverns and shops. Swimming in the harbour is just meters away and the taverna and sandy beach at Pondamos is easy to get to via a short cut through the back streets. We would happily stay there again.

It is very close to the Halki center and the restaurants. There is a place 3 minutes from the house where you can swim.

Location great Air conditioner was excellent. Awning was the best I saw.

− The balustrade was loose and not fixed to the wall- could potentially cause an accident but easily fixed. The shower needs the holder fixed then it would be a great shower. There were no knives just spoons and forks. The cleaning lady maybe owner.. turned up twice unannounced once to collect towels etc they were drying and once to clean. Nice to have the property cleaned but some communication would be good. She started me and then told me to shush 😆 This could be a great property with some easy fixes and better communication.
