Good location for Sheffield city centre. No other positives.

− The worst experience that we've had on Booking.com. The day before your booking you are contacted by the owner for a £50 security deposit that has to be transferred direct to their bank account. You also have to email them a photo of your driving licence/passport. We then received the apartment access codes on the day of the booking just a couple of hours before check in. On arrival, the key safe fell off the wall when we touched it to enter the code - it had just been balanced in the holes on the wall. The rest of the apartment was in a similar condition - dirty marks on most of the walls, dust and hair in the bathroom, grimy windows, freezer compartment door missing and totally iced up. Wifi signal was poor. Apartment is stocked with the bare minimum equipment with no toilet roll. The apartment looked nothing like the listing photos - all the walls were plain white and the furniture was less than basic. We left without staying. We then had to chase for a refund of the security deposit - this took a week to get back.

− Nothing, dirty sheets and pillow cases. We brought our own. Very rare we get answers to emails. Didn't get key code till a few hours before we got to the property

Location

− Once booked they then ask for a deposit. Doesn't look like the pictures ( no colour) Very tired needs lots of TLC garden overgrown No terrestrial tv Old tv low WiFi signal = nightmare to watch anything no batteries in the remote had to buy some Heatwave no fans and signs everywhere telling you not to open the windows.

Very good stay would recommend

− Actual place not like pictures, worn, used, dirty, noisy outside so could not sleep.

Its location to the city centre

− Everything else! There is years of dirt in the carpets, floors, walls. All what should be white is yellow. The beds are so uncomfortable, the one in the second room is not a bed. There are stains on the furniture, scuff marks everywhere and cracked containers in the appliances. We left after an hour. I have complained to the property but they now ghost me. Don’t book this place! It is nothing like the advertised photos.
