Exklusives Hotel in traumhafter Gartenanlage
10.0Die Lage etwas außerhalb des Zentrums von Funchal ist wunderbar. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind trotzdem problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders schön ist die weitläufige, sehr gepflegte Gartenanlage, in die sich das Hotel perfekt einfügt. Die beiden Outdoor-Pools sind völlig ausreichend und es waren jederzeit genügend Liegen vorhanden. Durch die überschaubare Anzahl an Zimmern wirkt das Hotel angenehm ruhig und zu keiner Zeit überlaufen. Die gesamte Anlage ist großzügig gestaltet und vermittelt eine sehr exklusive Atmosphäre. Auch die Zimmer sind sehr schön und hochwertig gestaltet. Das Frühstück war für uns absolut perfekt. Neben dem Angebot am Buffet konnten verschiedene Speisen frisch à la carte bestellt und direkt zubereitet werden. Qualität und Auswahl waren hervorragend.

8.0The property architecture and grounds are stunning
− The rooms felt a little small for the price. The property just underwent construction, and although the rooms were very nice, it wasn’t as perfect as I expected. There was still saw dust in the closet and a lot of ants on the floor. The construction was not completed on all of the facilities, so we were not able to utilize them. Although this was communicated to me a few weeks before our stay, it was still frustrating since this is a luxury hotel and all facilities were said to be available upon booking.

10.0Absolutely everything was perfect. Stunning hotel set in beautiful grounds. Great location - very hilly but many good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Breakfast fabulous.
