Nasty Host Sonia

The front desk staff Sonia was very rude and professional. She an older hispanic, lady very unfriendly body language nasty. When I arrived for check I greeted her with an hello and advise her I was her checking for a resvation (2) I made online. There was no greeting in return and she acted as if she didnt under what whith a smirk on her face. I began to pull up the reservation online. She refused to look at it. She then wanted to take all my information over again that previously put in online. I let her know that i did all of this and paid for parking in advance to reserve the room she ignore me she then took out a notepad asked for my debit card and wrote down my card number. She then wanted to know what my car looked like for what im not sure she didn't let me there was a deposit I asked about the extra charge to card she then gave me attitude she never even told me my total she just said pay here. I mentioned to her she had forgotten to give me a receipt and she told me they don't give out receipts until you check out. I wasn't charged when, in fact, I got a notification that I was charged. I checked out thank god I got a different host he was very nice friendly he explained to me the process of the receipt. I explained to him how unpleasant sonia she was and how she made me feel uncomfortable I think she might have a problem with black women.

The staff were great. The room was fair. Location was good, too

− I had a morning where I could sleep in, so I go a late check out. Unfortunately maintenance/house cleaning started in the hall way pretty early. Couldn't sleep in. Maybe also provide tooth brushes.

For the price, it was reasonable.

First, the staff is truly wonderful. Caring, kind, helpful and personable. Very refreshing to see this as it is infrequent these days. I can’t fault any of them. They really were the stars of this stay. Breakfast was also good and consistent each day with a lot of choices. The room was very large and had a nice bed, good lighting and chairs.

− The owner or franchisee needs to make a visit. The lobby elevator worked sporadically for the first couple of days and then was finally placed out of order for the next two. The coffee machines in the lobby also worked sporadically. Same with the toaster in the food area and it looked like it should be trashed. The exterior of the building has large amounts ofpeeling paint around the soffits. The bathroom door in my room was rotted on the inside obviously from bath water.
