Amazing three night stay

The stay here was so amazing we truly enjoyed ourselves. What was suppose to be a one night stay turned into 3 nights. Ruddy, was amazing from beginning to end and we enjoyed all the staff here. Thank you Ruddy for all your help! The area felt safe and we had a blast staying here. The food is 10/10 get the steak you won’t regret it.

A comfortable stay in an historic building.

We stayed 3 nights in twin bedded room Verso on the first floor in the historic building. Relatively large room with comfortable beds, good airco and a sitting area on a kind of veranda near the room. The disadvantage that the room has only a small window in the bathroom has the advantage that the room was quiet, no traffic sounds. We liked it as the front side of the hotel faces a one lane street with quite a lot of traffic. Very nice building and a beautiful courtyard. We liked the breakfast served by a very good English speaking and friendly employee very much. The transfer by private car to Granada was well arranged.

Average hotel with lack of communication

This is an average hotel that lack a lot of communication. It's over 2 hours from the airport but centrally located in Leon with a lot of nearby cafe's and restaurants. They take payment upfront so not like any other hotel where you pay upon checking out. They want to make sure they get all of their $$ upfront. They informed me that breakfast was included and it was the Nicaraguan breakfast, however, they never mentioned anything about other options as well (I've got all the email receipts in case the "owner" wants to dispute that on here). The only helpful person is Jose who's the manager in the restaurant. The front desk isn't knowledgeable as most are young and and on their phones. Rooms are nice with a fan but still very warm. They do host a lot of parties which gets very loud due to music but they informed me ahead of time of this and my room was a bit away from the noise. I was facing the street and it's very loud with a lot car noise. There are a lot of great cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. Upon my walk I did find a few other smaller hotels that were 1/2 the price so do some research before you book here. Again, a lack of serious communication at this hotel- it'll take forever to get here from the airport.

an absolute disgrace

this hotel lied to us. We were told there was going to be “some music” and that it would end at midnight. It is almost 1 AM and the music is so loud. It is shaking the walls. They have a full band. I’m sure the people at the wedding, or whatever it is, or having a wonderful time. But nobody in this hotel can sleep. You can’t even begin to imagine how loud it is. There are multiple horn players, multiple guitar players, and the courtyard is right next to just about every single room in this hotel. Even the rooms that are a little bit away, it is still deafening. This is a disgrace.
