Beautiful apartment in Santa Maria
9.0Very comfortable bed and lovely outside seating area for the couple of nights we stayed in. The location was excellent, 5 minutes walk to main strip of bars and restaurants and the beautiful beach. Staff on reception were lovely especially Tyson.
− There was no oven which I would have liked. I think the microwave may have had a convection oven inside but no instructions. Also as we were staying for longer than 7 days a change of towels would have been nice and maybe some cleaning products for us to use. The wifi was a bit hit and miss but not the fault of the apartment and at the end of our stay the owner compensated us for the inconvenience which I thought was nice.
Really great stay, would stay again for sure.
9.0Location to centre of town is perfect, 1 street away. Apartment is just like the pictures, lovely size. Nice having the rooftop pool for sun all day. Host was always available to answer any messages.
− Just a few gripes, the shower leaked a lot, was not installed correctly. Unfortunately next door didn't read the memo of no parties and people above would throw there cigarette butts out of the window into our garden. Last 2 can`t be helped but annoying.
Lovely and relaxing stay at Sal Serenity Suites
10.0Our transport provider took us to our apartment which was easily accessible from the main street. The apartment is located in an apartment complex in which there are different providers, not just Sal Serenity Suites. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, as we self-catered for our holiday. The aircon worked very well and kept us cool at night. There is an outside seating area with pretty lighting too which was particularly appealing. Overall the apartment was beautifully decorated and very well situated; it was a five minute walk to the beach and main strip of restaurants and shops. The rooftop pool was lovely and provided 360 views of Santa Maria. We often had the pool to ourselves which was great. Sylvie our host remained in contact with us to answer any queries we had. She was very responsive and helpful. If we did return to Cape Verde again, we would definitely rebook with Sal Serenity Suites.
