Prime location, great staff, and excellent rooms for New York City standards.

− One small detail worth noting: the primary photo on Booking.com shows a lovely rooftop terrace, but it is actually exclusive to specific rooms rather than a shared amenity. It didn’t impact our stay, but having clearer expectations would have been nice.

It was a beautiful hotel. The room was beautiful.

− I’m not sure if this is a Booking.com issue or a hotel issue; but we booked a Deluxe King room “with city views” well because of the location of the hotel, there are no city views. The hotel staff was very sweet and offered to move us to a front facing room but still had no city views. So, just be aware when booking that you will not have city views. Save yourself the money on the deluxe king suite, it’s no different than the other King rooms. The 1st photo is the room description on Booking.com, the 2nd photo is the view from our room, the 3rd photo is the front facing view.

The location of the hotel is excellent, 1 block away from the NYC Public Library and Bryant Park, also 2 blocks away from the Grand Central station but still in a quiet street with little to no traffic. The staff is great, made the stay a whole lot better because they were extremely polite and accomodating even when making modifications to the breakfast menu options. The quality of the beds, bedding and pillows is excellent as well as the quality of the bathroom products.

− The only thing I did not like and this is being nitpicky in excess is that the room needed more overhead lighting instead of individual lamps or at least a way to turn on all the room lighting at once.

This boutique hotel exceeded expectations on all levels.

Loved the location, so close to Grand Central as we were there for the US Open. Loved the staff; everyone was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional. Loved the size of the room. Loved the size of the towels in the bathroom.

− Would love to have had a magnified mirror in the bathroom for makeup. Would love to have a more generous robe. I am a slender person and felt it was a bit smaller than you want from a hotel robe, but I appreciated having the robe.

Ótimo hotel e extremamente bem conservado e reformado com boa academia e localização. A cama do quarto era um pouco menor do que eu esperava mas foi tranquilo de ficar por lá. Muito fácil de se locomover pela região e staff muito simpático.

The room was surprisingly large and quiet for Manhattan. Its proximity to Grand Central and Bryant Park was important for me.
