Discreto ma migliorabile

La Dimora di Dante è una struttura esteticamente bella e curata, ma nel complesso la nostra esperienza non ci ha particolarmente colpiti. La struttura è molto assolata e, negli spazi comuni interni, l’assenza di aria condizionata si avverte parecchio. Anche nella zona piscina il comfort potrebbe essere migliorato: gli ombrelloni sono troppo piccoli e, durante la giornata, bisogna praticamente “inseguire” l’ombra per riuscire a ripararsi dal sole. La gestione è familiare, ma a nostro parere presenta diversi aspetti migliorabili. La colazione è risultata piuttosto basica e mediocre: prevalentemente cornetti, poca frutta, frutta secca non particolarmente fresca e nessuna proposta come torte, crostate o ciambelle. Da una struttura di questo livello ci saremmo aspettati una maggiore varietà e più attenzione alla qualità. Abbiamo trovato discutibile anche la scelta perentoria di non permettere agli ospiti di rimanere nella struttura dopo le ore 12:00, pur avendo già liberato la camera. Una maggiore flessibilità, soprattutto per chi desidera utilizzare ancora per qualche ora gli spazi esterni o la piscina, bella e pulita, sarebbe certamente apprezzata. Il primo giorno abbiamo soggiornato in una camera al primo piano, dove l’aria condizionata risultava insufficiente rispetto alla cubatura dell’ambiente: nonostante fosse accesa, durante la notte la temperatura interna è rimasta intorno ai 28,5 gradi. Va però riconosciuto alla proprietaria di essere intervenuta prontamente, spostandoci in un’altra camera di categoria superiore, gesto che abbiamo apprezzato. Buono anche il fatto che la struttura è provvista di un frigorifero dove è possibile servirsi scrivendo poi cosa, il tutto con prezzi veramente onesti, tutti i nostri extra cmq sono stati offerti dalla proprietaria per il discorso di essere stati invitati a lasciare la struttura alle 12 con 44 gradi all’ombra.

Our stay at Dimora di Dante was truly exceptional. The host was incredibly caring, kind, patient, and attentive — it was clear from the very beginning that they genuinely enjoy making guests feel at home. The room was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped, with every detail carefully considered to ensure comfort. It felt like a true home away from home. Breakfast was a daily highlight — each morning offered something fresh, homemade, and different, showing the same level of care and love that went into the rest of our stay. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable, and everything was maintained to the highest standard. We also really enjoyed the pool area, which was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds to relax comfortably. We’re so grateful for the warm hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, heartfelt experience in Sicily! We travelled with a small dog and he too was welcomed with open arms.
