10.0Amazing stay with the kindest hosts Chikako and Kojo, we will definitely be back! We had such a wonderful stay at The Guesthouse Japan in Hakuba and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The location is fantastic, very close to the Happo Bus Terminal and convenient for getting around. The hosts and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The level of service was exceptional and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Breakfast each morning was simple and delicious, and a great way to start the day before heading out to ski. The daily transport was very convenient – the team would drive us to and pick us up from the ski hill, which made everything so easy. They were also extremely helpful with advice about ski rentals and great places to eat around Hakuba. During our stay my partner became unwell, and the team went out of their way to help us get to the medical center and made sure we were well looked after, which we really appreciated. We also got engaged while staying there, and the team went above and beyond to make the moment even more special by surprising us with a cake and celebrating with us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and something we’ll always remember. Thank you to the whole team for such an incredible stay. We can’t wait to come back

10.0We stayed in the cabin of the Guest House Japan and had a wonderful time. The hosts Koji and Chikako went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay including driving us where we needed to be and helping us with restaurant recommendations.
− We have young children so the cabin was great as we didn't have to worry about the noise if they were up early and made a noise. It was very clean and comfortable.
Fantastic getaway in Hakuba
10.0We had a fantastic stay. Close enough to Happo without being in the thick of it and what it brings. Beautifully nestled in the Wadano forest. Certainly walkable to Rhythm Wadano and even the Sakka lifts. Thanks Koji, Chikako and the team for looking after us!
