Peaceful. Relaxing. Restful. Comfy.

The attention to detail made this a home from home, not just a place to lay our heads. The location is amazing, surrounded by trees and wildlife and is perfect for walking into town. The rooms are really comfy and well equipped.

− The only thing , is it's a little cold till the heating gets on and the gorgeous fire warms up the place. But that really is a minor thing as it doesn't take long to warm up.

The lodge was immaculate, very clean and tidy. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Located in a quiet area of Forres, yet very close to the amenities of the high street. The host could not have been more welcoming, responsive and helpful. Highly recommended for a peaceful, comfortable stay.
