Colibri Recif is a small hotel-like room that is nicely fitted out. We found the mattress to be very comfortable although pillows were to thin and firm for our tastes. A flat screen TV mounted on the wall across from the bed includes Netflix and other apps. The tall black cabinet in the pictures contains shelves for clothing and there is also a trunk on the floor for storing stuff. The only place to hang clothes is on the back of the bathroom door. The shower features a rainfall type shower head and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is outfitted with the necessities required by two people, including an induction heater that gets very hot, very fast. Be sure to reduce the temperature (in degrees Celsius) setting when you turn it on. Air conditioning works very well and there is a caretaker - Mini - on the premises. The inner courtyard has a small swimming pool that is expertly maintained as well as a covered common area with tables, chairs and chaise longues. The property is one block from the beach and a 5-minute walk from the shops and restaurants of central La Penita.

La alberca estaba fuera de servicio... Los alrededores del lugar muy inseguros, muchos insectos en el lugar, el precio un poco elevado para el lugar.
