Stylish palace hotel
8.0Fabulous location right by Basilica Santa Crocce in a very stylish old palace with lovely rooms. Very friendly staff. Beautiful art on display (with a complimentary out of hours guided visit to the museum which was wonderful) and a great breakfast offering.
− I don’t like the optional 5% service charge added to the bill at the end - I feel this is an unfair policy as you initially make your choices on a quality/price relationship and to be then told it will be 5% more once you have booked a non refundable rate bothers me. I also feel service should be offered at a hotel as it’s part of what they offer. Staff here were not as well trained as you might have expected. The first receptionist did not know the WiFi password without going back to reception for it and a different receptionist couldn’t give us a menu to look at but sent us back to our room to scan a QR code! Another thing we didn’t like was only being given one bottle of complimentary water for a 2 night stay when it was over 30 degrees outside. If you booked 2 separate one night stays then you would get one bottle each night - so why penalise people who stay for longer??

10.0Alles. Een hotel dat aanvoelt als thuiskomen, hoewel we er pas voor de eerste keer waren. Het personeel is echt fantastisch. Het hotel neemt je mee in het verhaal.
