10.0One of the best experiences ever with rental accommodation. The house is gorgeous and comfortable, the owners renovated it keeping the old Alentejo charm which is honestly perfect. One of the biggest highlights was the biological pool, it's such a great experience! The pool is super clean with loads of adorable frogs sitting on lotus flowers , so beautiful and great to escape the heat. The hosts are fantastic, they provided some goods upon our arrival (water, delicious cheese, bread) , breakfast every morning and were relentless in ensuring we had everything we needed. If you're planning a trip to Alentejo you MUST stay at Casa do Alto da Eira !! Oh, PS - there's also a beautiful freshwater beach 5min drive away with trees planted in the sand for shade. Unreal!

An Oasis in Alentejo
10.0We really enjoyed the peaceful environment, the house itself is beautiful with the most lovely kitchen overlooking the pool. The pool is incredible and interacting with the frogs makes the experience unique. It contributes greatly to the view! We cooked every day, we did not feel like anything was missing and we were treated really well by the host! Thank you again, we will come back!
