10.0お風呂つきの部屋に泊まりましたが、とても広く家族3人くつろいで過ごせました。何よりスタッフの方のホスピタリティーが最高でした。

Great authentic ryokan
9.0Very authentic and family friendly ryokan. Baths were clean and well used. Breakfast was well supplied and even had a hot tea machine! Dinner was filling and fun. There were a lot of small groups staying at the same time as us having a grand time. Being slightly out of town meant there were very few foreign tourists.
− The "shower" in the hotel room that came with a hot tub was a push knob and would stay on for maybe 15 seconds max. We ended up tying it down so we could bathe. We're 60% sure it was broken because the showers in the public bath stayed on way longer. The double room that we got for my parents was very very narrow, though it did at least have a full shower. The pictures of the room were very deceptive.

− 清潔感が全くない、玄関周り、お風呂場の汚れ等不快感が多く、料金と設備料理サ―ビス、社員教育が全く出来ていない。 2泊目のホテルとの比較では、最低の最低

8.0+ Generally speaking extremely friendly and welcoming staff + Great traditional multi course dinner and impeccable breakfast with real dishes, great drink options as well + The private onsen is extremely comfortable and usable all day and night + Great facilities, good downstairs area to chill and get some drinks + Able to hold luggage before check in and after check out + Spacious traditional room with everything one may need. The beds were comfortable
− - The shower unfortunately had very low water pressure making it harder to feel truly clean before jumping into the onsen - You need to press the button to activate a shower every 5 seconds, making it highly impractical - Some staff members answered in English or threw in random English words while we were speaking in Japanese, which I found very disrespectful and prejudiced based on my skin colour - We booked one of the most expensive rooms (50000¥ +) and somehow they didnt roll the 150¥ onsen tax per person into the price. It absolutely does feel like getting nickel and dimed - The onsen view room has a view of the parking, although you can see nature only when sitting down - The hotel is located 5km away from the center of Nara
