A lovely cosy, cottage near Kendal. Shame about the smell.

The property provided towels and breakfast items which was a nice touch. The outdoor space was lovely too and was a real sun trap with a BBQ you could use if staying longer. The beds were really comfy and the curtains blocked out enough light to get a good night's sleep.

− There were some unusual smells in the property. The main entrance smelled as though a cat had sprayed, which was obviously and unpleasant thing when arriving at your place to stay. The bathroom also smelled really bad and I'm not sure if this was because of the toilet being on a septic tank, but it was really off putting and made me feel quite ill when I wanted to have a wash in the morning.
