I got to use the wi-fi quite fairly. Airconditioning unit worked well including the hot and cold shower. It felt like you just went out of town on vacation and have not flown to a remote destination except that the view when you wake up is the white sand beach. The staff were all friendly and they could help you out with the tours with reasonable rates. The food here was okay, typical. Good sunset views. I would still recommend staying here but lower down your expectations, they'll be met. Would I stay here again? Probably yes, it was still a good experience overall.

− I would have rated the place a good 9 since the location is by the beach and near most of the restaurants but we were advised that we cannot swim by the sea or we can swim at our own risk since there are jelly fish which stings. I know that the electricity could at times be scarce in the island but a TV (with Netflix) could be a good addition for the room as you spend time to rest after the tours and help keep up with the competition versus other resorts and bnbs. We also got locked out of our room (our fault) on Day 1 and unfortunately, with all the spare keys they have in a box for all the rooms, ours didn't have any, so the crew had to force open the knob with all the tactics they've done before. That was quite stressful and tiring for both the staff and guests. I just hope it won't happen to other tourists. We were advised not to leave our stuff outside as there may be thieves around. One of the foreign guests had a minor mishap with her fingernail getting injuted at half past 11PM and sadly, there weren't any crews around (they only work until dinner time - which was probably before 10PM) - there were emergency contact numbers in the room but they honestly didn't respond so it is better if you have your own vehicle to go around Port Barton.

Not worth the price with limited electriity and water supply

Great location, set slightly back from the beach. A nice spacious terrace to chill on in the evenings. Restaurant and food were lovely and reasonably priced.

− After clicking the 'pay' button on booking.com on a non-refundable booking, I was sent a message to say that electricity and water would be limited during my stay. Fortunately, this didn't affect the AC all the time due to the solar power back up but it did affect whether you could use the shower, charge your phone or even see in the bathroom. I had to pay for another hotel on my final night because I could not risk not being able to charge my phone or washing prior to a very long flight. Information about the electricity and water needs to be provided before customers commit to booking.
