10.0We stayed here for two nights. The rooms are in a modern courtyard development at the rear of the inn. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and well appointed. The cooked to order breakfast was excellent.

10.0Only a bed for the night but very pleasant old pub with friendly helpful service and cosy room, sadly had to leave before breakfast so can’t comment on food but I would book again for a longer stay in future as it’s a beautiful part of the country to explore

6.0The room was ok , but the carpet had not been vacuumed and was very messy , the bedding was an awful green stripe and creased with dark green creased sheet , giving the appearance it had been slept in . I informed a member of staff , who went and looked at the room she agreed about the carpet but said she thought the bedding had been changed. I said I am sorry if you had to vacuum she said , no I don’t know where they keep it ! well obviously the cleaner doesn’t either . All I can say was the bathroom was clean enough, and the evening meal we had was good . Went in the pub in the morning to see about breakfast, no sign of life shouted several times no reply , there was juice milk and cereal on the bar but walked out and left .
