1.0− Absolute scam! Area inflated three times (15 instead of 48 m²). Dangerous property and WhatsApp manipulation. We booked this property in Cagliari for 3 nights (costing over €355), but we returned the keys immediately after entering. The listing is a complete scam and deliberately misleads customers. The room specifications on Booking.com state "Room size: 48 m²", with a brazen claim that it is more spacious than most in the city. In reality, it is a cramped, claustrophobic container measuring approx. 5x3 meters (maximum 15-17 m² of living space). The photos in the listing were taken with an extreme wide-angle lens to artificially create space and hide the terrible tightness. Unfolding the main bed or the table completely blocks the only normal exit from the cabin! In the event of an emergency or fire, guests are trapped in a deadly hazard. The second, rear door leads directly into deep water, which is unacceptable for non-swimmers. Accessing the roof via a vertical, slippery ladder over the water without any safety enclosures is another drowning risk. Furthermore, while the photos suggest space and privacy, we found about 10 boats crammed tightly side-by-side, with neighbors' windows facing each other directly. The management's behavior was scandalous and dishonest. First, they submitted a fake "No-Show" status to Booking.com to keep 100% of our payment and block me from leaving this review. When the system rejected their trick, they sent me a ready-made template on WhatsApp – while the reservation period was still active! – offering a refund on the condition that I... remove the negative review (which I hadn't even had the chance to publish yet). When I refused to be manipulated, they cut off all contact, refused to refund the nights they resold to other people, and even pocketed the €18 city tax for a stay that never took place. Extreme dishonesty, avoid The Homeboat Company at all costs! Śmiertelna pułapka i bezczelne oszustwo!
