Amazing stay in Galloway!

We loved the property as it was peaceful and had everything we needed. Wasn’t far away from Newton Stewart, even walked back twice. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Modern lodge in a peaceful setting.

This quiet & peaceful site has just three lodges on the edge of Newton Stewart. The lodge was modern, spotless and held a great view across nearby fields. Central heating kept the lodge cozy and warm. Ample parking and a warm and friendly welcome from the owner. Very good value. A great base to explore Galloway. We visited Kirroughtree, Mossyard, Wigtown, Mull of Galloway Lighthouse, Logan Botanical Gardens and had a wonderful weekend

Another great break at Barnkirk.

We've stayed with Ian on a number of occasions and all excellent, this time we had the slightly larger caravan, and found it suited us well, the little extra shower space in particular was m9st welcome. Considering the weather we've had this winter, it was pleasant to have a couple of sunny days yo enjoy the surroundings. All In all a very enjoyable few days.

− Nothing under human control!! Very strong winds came in on our last day, but we couldn't complain to the person or being responsible🤣🤣
