Great hotel, but far from DaNang.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms, extremely friendly staff, and just a great vibe in general. Breakfast was good and the pools were nice. Right on the beach and walkable to restaurants. We had a 2nd floor room and a 3rd floor "upgraded" room. The upgraded room had a gorgeous bathroom, but the views from the 2nd floor and the 2nd floor balcony were actually much better. When we got tired of the local cuisine we enjoyed several meals at Thom's, a smoothie and coffee place just down the road.

− The ONLY reason I might hesitate before booking this hotel again is the location. We enjoyed walking to meals but everything else was a car ride (albeit a cheap one). Hoi An was a quick easy trip, but the drive to DaNang took much longer than it looked like it would based on the map. Sometimes it was an hour each way due to traffic and slow speed limits. It cost about $10 each way for a car, but the bigger issue was the time and planning required. Also, there was government-required beach construction right outside the hotel. They notified us before we arrived, and people were still using the beach. We sat in the chairs and enjoyed the view, but at certain times there were large machines making noise just a short way down the beach. The hotel offered a shuttle or bikes to a different beach. We didn't find it too disruptive, but it was happening. One other thing--we picked this hotel over another nearby because it had a workout room, but be advised the air conditioner in that room was not working well and it was basically too hot to use.

Very nice beach bar with sun beds, good restaurant/breakfast to sit inside or in the garden and 3 swimming pools. Big modern/clean rooms with terras or balcony. Very nice/helpful staff. Enjoyed renting scooters and discovered Hoi An and surroundings by ourselves.

− Beach directly in front of the resort was under construction and the sea not accessable for swimming- you had to walk or bike a bit further up.

The rooms were well appointed with a balcony. There are 3 small pools between the rooms. On the beach. Easy distance for local restaurants

− They are reclaiming the beach at present so that was a little disappointing but out of their hands. It will be stunning when complete.

Sehr schöne Anlage direkt am Meer.

− Konnten Strand wegen Schutzmaßnahmen fast nicht benutzen. Hatte Rattenbesuch am Pool.

Sol was quiet and peaceful nestled in a casuarina forest atop a small cliff overlooking the sea. Great views for sunrises and sunsets. Sunbeds on the beach and the clifftop. Clifftop bar with drinks and food. Breakfast buffet had good variety. Staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Sol allowed us to bring our hired electric push bikes and charge them onsite free of charge and always made sure the bikes were safely stored. I would definitely stay again. Onsite restaurant was very good quality with inside and outside seating options. Multiple pool options for swimming. Close to a range of bars and eating areas, including local food. Very close to the main An Bang beach area but away from the hustle and bustle.
