The location and view were excellent. Convenient for restaurants, etc. Private parking was good

− The weekly clean/replacement of linen, etc, was ok, but the hard floors should have been washed and the carpets vacuumed each week.. This was queried as to why it was not done, as would normally be expected, but were informed that there would be an extra charge for this which we considered unacceptable as we had paid over Aud17,000 (£9,500) for our 4 week stay. The general condition of the apartment was not very good with dirty soft furnishings and badly worn carpets. There was a problem with the main light switch in one of the bedrooms, and the cable to the alarm radio was damaged and did not work. These were reported early on in our stay, and someone visited to have a look, but no one ever came back to fix the problems. This is very bad as electrical problems can be dangerous. The fridge was wobbly and did not have any lower trays for salads, fruit, etc. Generally, the apartment needs refurbishment. It's a shame there were these bad points, as the location is excellent.
